Biography
McDonald Addotey Braide, known professionally as KOJOBLAK, was born on July 23, 2001, in Accra, Accra Metropolitan District, Ghana, and pursued a career as a singer and songwriter in Afrobeats. After early vocal training with the Christ Embassy Church choir and initial performances under the moniker Toy Boy, he signed with Jadon Shatta Entertainment in 2021 and released his debut EP 757 on May 15, 2024. The single "Excellent" featuring Kelvyn Boy followed in 2024, gaining significant airplay in Ghana, while "Next Door" featuring Sarkodie premiered in February 2025. KOJOBLAK continued to expand his discography with the EP 131 in March 2025, collaborating with artists such as Sarkodie, Kelvyn Boy, and Joshua Baraka, and subsequent releases including "Gear", "Gymnastic" with KiDi, and "SAILOR", which reached number 42 in Afrobeats Songs chart.
