Biography

Yang Jung Seung, known professionally as Kiroy Y, was born on October 8, 1974, in Seoul, Republic of Korea. A singer‑songwriter, he entered the music scene through participation in the groups Red Tracksuits, J Boys, and Y2Y, while also releasing solo material. His early career featured the digital single "Sky & Star" and the EP "Secret" (2008‑10‑24), establishing his presence in the K‑pop arena. Kiroy Y’s discography progressed with "Sky & Star 2" (2010‑10‑22) and the studio album Generation (2010‑02‑04), followed by Premium (2013‑12‑03) and "Sky & Star 6" (2015‑01‑08). The single "All For Love" (2020‑03‑31) and the collaboration "Confession day" (feat. Park Chanyoung, 2020‑09‑30) highlighted his continued relevance. In 2019, he released Eternal Love (2019‑01‑23), which charted in the top twenty of the Korean Gaon Album Chart. Throughout his career, Kiroy Y maintained a steady output of singles such as "Sky & Star 3" (2011‑02‑08) and "Milky Way" (2019‑11‑13), solidifying his position in the contemporary Korean pop landscape. The single "Star in the Night Sky 14" was released on March 11, 2026 and entered Melon's Top 500 Melon domestic chart at rank 29 the next day.
