Kim Yongpil, born on March 3, 1975, in Hapcheon, Gyeongsangnam-do, is a South Korean former announcer who now actively works as both a singer and TV host. He began his career as a freelance announcer on Maeil Business TV and worked as a reporter for MBC and a narrator for KBS's Live Info Show. In late 2022, he left his broadcasting career to compete in Mr. Trot 2, and following the show, he transitioned fully into music and hosting. Known for his charisma and stage presence, he has hosted events such as TV Chosun's Trot Super Concert alongside actress Lee Chaeyoung. As a trot singer, his notable releases include âLove Songâ (2023), âGentleman's nightâ (2023), and his latest full album Four Seasons (2025).
