Killing Me Inside is an Indonesian post-hardcore band from Jakarta. Formed in 2005 by guitarist Josaphat Klements, the band has had its fair share of internal conflicts over the years, leading to several lineup changes. Their studio debut, A Fresh Start for Something New, was released in 2009 via Fast Youth Records and was followed by a self-titled album in 2010, which sold over 500,000 copies and obtained platinum certification by Royal Prima Musikindo. Preceded by the single âMelangkah,â their third full-length 1 Reason saw the light in 2012. Other tracks from the album included âMenyesal,â âNever Go Back,â âFor 1 Last Time,â and âJangan Pergiâ with singer Tiffany. In 2015, Killing Me Inside returned with Rebirth: A New Beginning, a concept album that combined metalcore with electronic dance music and earned them a nomination for Best Rock Album at the 18th Annual Anugerah Musik Indonesia Awards. The album also featured new singer Savira Razak, who was a finalist on the talent show Mamamia in 2007.
