Biography
Sandra Erika Edgar Garza, known professionally as Kika Edgar, was born on Januaryâ¯9,â¯1985, in Ciudad Madero, Tamaulipas, Mexico. She is a singer and actress who began her career by studying at the Centro de Educación ArtÃstica de Televisa (CEA), specializing in ballet. Her musical journey started with her participation in Cantando por un Sueño in 2006, where she secured second place. This led to her debut album, Kika (released in 2007), which included the single âTal vezâ and sold around 50,000 copies (though it was reportedly not certified by AMPROFON). In 2008, Kika Edgar released her second album, Lo Siento Mi Amor, a tribute to Lupita DâAlessio, which sold 100,000 copies in Mexico and achieved platinum status.
