Kickback are a French hardcore ensemble from Paris formed in 1991. The group was established by Stephen Bessac, Fabrice Fortin, and Patrick Vandewalle. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style influenced by New York hardcore and extreme metal. Their recording career began with the demo recording The Meaning of Pain (1991), followed by the extended play No One Gets Out Alive (1992). Their discography includes the studio recordings Cornered (1995), Forever War (1997), and Les 150 passions meurtrières (2000). They released the studio recordings No Surrender (2009) and Et le diable rit avec nous (2011). The ensemble became inactive in 2013 but resumed activity in 2024.
