Biography
Ketsia, a HaitianâCanadian singer born in Montreal, Quebec, began her musical journey in her native city, performing in both French and English. Her breakthrough came with the single "Possible" in April 2010, which entered the Billboard Hotâ¯100 and peaked at Number 83 while reaching Number 9 on the Emerging Canadian Artists chart; the track later ranked 15th among Quebec digital sales that year. In 2011, "Just Let Me Go" and "Running on Empty" followed, the latter peaking at Number 45 on the Hotâ¯100 and Number 18 on Hot Digital Songs, extending her chart presence to 15 weeks. Ketsia released her debut album Une Reine Est Née on 6â¯June 2008, and later singles such as "Already Miss You" (2012) and "Gasoline" (2014). She coâfounded Kâtrain Entertainment, supporting independent artists and expanding her influence within the Canadian pop scene.
