Biography

Keren Peles Toor, born on March 11, 1979 in Israel, is a singer-songwriter and musician. She graduated from the Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music and began her career as a songwriter for artists like Miri Mesika and Shiri Maimon. Her debut album, If This Is Life, was released in 2006 and sold over 20,000 copies, earning gold certification. Peles wrote all the songs on this album and was nominated for Female Singer of the Year by Galgalatz. In April 2008, her second album, Flood), was released, also achieving gold status. She has collaborated extensively with Rami Kleinstein. Peles received the Israeli Ministry of Culture and Sport Award for a Newcomer Songwriter in 2006 and the ACUM Award twice in 2018 and 2022.
