Biography
Kellerkommando, a German band formed in 2009, blends traditional Franconian folk music with urban beats. Their early release was the EP Dei Mudder sei Hut in 2010. The band won the Creole Bayern award the following year. Kellerkommando performed at notable festivals including the International Book Fair in Guadalajara, Mexico, in 2011 and the Chiemsee Reggae Summer in 2013. The band's debut album, Dunnerkeil, was released in 2013 under Downbeat Records. Their second studio album, Belzebub, followed in 2015. In same year, Kellerkommando was named Artist of the Month by the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region. The band took a break from live performances in 2016 but returned in 2017 with an altered lineup.
