Biography
Hans-Timm "Timsen" Hinrichsen was born in Schleswig on October 6, 1964. He grew up as the son of a farmer in a small village on the Schleswig-Holstein Geest and still lives near his hometown today. Timsen is a founding member of the band Santiano, with whom he places eight number 1 albums in the German charts. In April 2025, Timsen releases his first solo album Vun Hier via DolceRita Music/Warner Music. The album is a tribute to his roots and combines Low German lyrics with folk-rock sounds. It contains duets with artists such as Wolfgang Niedecken, Stefanie Heinzmann, Hannes Ringlstetter, Max von Milland, Dieter "Maschine" Birr and Ina Regen. The first single "Aff un to" will be released on January 17, 2025 and is a reinterpretation of the BAP classic "Aff und zo" from 2001. Timsen sings in Low German, Niedecken in Kölsch. Further singles such as "In de Provinz" with Hannes Ringlstetter follow.
