Born in Rouen on January 31, 1983, Kevin Bonnet aka Keen'V has made a name for himself with his often humorous style of dance music. Bordering on parody, he has not hesitated to cover the hilarious "à la pêche aux moules", which became "Je veux y retourner (à la pêche aux moules)" (2009). In 2008, his song "à l'horizontale", despite flattering club charts, failed to enter the sales charts. But his career took off, and his debut album Phénom'N n reached No. 88 in the French charts. Two years later, he became even more famous with "Le Son qui fait bam bam" (No. 19). Armed with this first hit, the singer from Rouen went on to make a name for himself in 2011 with "J'aimerais trop" (No. 3) and the album Carpe Diem (No. 9). His successor, La Vie Est Belle (2012), offers a wealth of tracks with swaying rhythms, reggaeton, dancehall and raggamuffin, making Keen'V his specialty. Keen'V's French-style popular dance is reflected in recurring chart hits: Ange ou Démon (2013), his first No. 1 album, features the chart-topping "La Vie du bon côté", his highest charting single (No. 6). The singer's next albums, Saltimbanque (2014), with "Dis-moi (Marina)" (No. 10), Là Où le Vent Me Mène (2015) and 7 (2017), also reached No. 1. After the album Thérapie (No. 2 in 2019) comes the duet "Quoi qu'il arrive" (2020), with the group Magic System. After the Covid-19 pandemic, Keen'V redoubled his activity, recording back-to-back albums, Rêver (No. 2 in 2021) and Diamant (2022), the tenth of his name, which saw him return to No. 1 in the SNEP charts, thanks in particular to the hit "Outété " (No. 38). In 2023, the singer returned with the album Ãquilibre, to which artists such as DJ Kawest, Dely Kate, Magixx, Curtis Laoban and Lorelei B contributed. Two years later, IV Saisons is released, reaching No. 10 in the SNEP chart.
