Biography

Kathrin & Peter, born November 30, 1962, and March 9, 1962, respectively in Löbau, Germany, are a German singing and presenting duo. Kathrin is a trained design engineer who has been singing and playing the guitar since childhood. Peter completed his training as a moderator and word interpreter after a baker's apprenticeship. Both initially worked as disc jockeys before forming the duo in the late 1990s. Their first single was released in 1999, followed by successful albums such as Da wo die Spree entspringt (1995), and Du bist meine Welt (2000). Notable songs include "Wenn nicht heute wann denn dann" and "Die Melodie". They have collaborated with prominent producers like Bernd Meinunger and Reiner Burmann, achieving numerous chart-topping hits. Kathrin & Peter have appeared on various TV shows including Immer wieder sonntags and ZDF-Fernsehgarten.
