Biography

Karakoram Range, a Japanese pop band formed in Tokyo in 2021, was established when guitarist and vocalist Soutaro Ishida, keyboardist Ryota Ogawa, and drummer Gura were joined by bassist Yuta Kimura; the group emerged from a copyâband experience and Soutaro Ishidaâs highâschool project Shibuya Session. Their debut EP daibutsu-beam was released in 2021. Chronologically, their studio EPs include Karari (2021â12â04), Syukan Kibatsu (2024â08â14), and Blanco Skyline (2025â03â26), with the single "Modore, Melos" (2025â11â12) following. The band performed on the FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL rookie stage in 2023, appeared at SUMMER SONIC, and hosted a solo show at Simokitazawa BASEMENTBAR on 2025â04â26.
