Biography

Kang Kyung-soon, aka Kang Heo Dalim and born 7 June 1974 in Suncheon, Korea, is a Korean rock singer‑songwriter who began her career immediately after high school, forming a band that later became the vocalist for the Seoul blues group Shinchon Blues. She debuted with the single "Soliloquoy" in 2005 and released her first full‑length album Waiting, Nervous on 9 April 2008, followed by You Are My Ocean on 29 December 2011. Subsequent releases include Beyond The Blues (17 March 2015), "Ocean Spirit" (24 November 2016), and LOVE (21 March 2023). Her singles "Mother's Song" (29 July 2021) and "Grown Up Child" (6 March 2023) expanded her audience, while her 2023 tour solidified her presence in the Korean rock scene. The track "The Song You Gave Me," on her album Kang Heo Dalim 20th, released on December 17, 2025, entered Melon's Top 500 Melon domestic chart at rank 25 the next day.
