Kang Kyung-soon, aka Kang Heo Dalim and born 7â¯Juneâ¯1974 in Suncheon, Korea, is a Korean rock singerâsongwriter who began her career immediately after high school, forming a band that later became the vocalist for the Seoul blues group Shinchon Blues. She debuted with the single "Soliloquoy" in 2005 and released her first fullâlength album Waiting, Nervous on 9â¯Aprilâ¯2008, followed by You Are My Ocean on 29â¯Decemberâ¯2011. Subsequent releases include Beyond The Blues (17â¯Marchâ¯2015), "Ocean Spirit" (24â¯Novemberâ¯2016), and LOVE (21â¯Marchâ¯2023). Her singles "Mother's Song" (29â¯Julyâ¯2021) and "Grown Up Child" (6â¯Marchâ¯2023) expanded her audience, while her 2023 tour solidified her presence in the Korean rock scene. The track "The Song You Gave Me," on her album Kang Heo Dalim 20th, released on December 17, 2025, entered Melon's Top 500 Melon domestic chart at rank 25 the next day.
