Kalamity Kills is an American hard rock band formed by singer Jamie Rowe and guitarist/producer Jamey Perrenot. Originally from Indiana, where he was born in 1970, Jamie Rowe founded Tempest with his brother Mick Rowe in 1986, before joining the Guardian band in 1990, where he has been the lead singer ever since. He was also involved in other projects such as AdrianGale and London Calling, and made three solo albums, before forming Kalamity Kills with Jamey Perrenot. This new formation made its debut in 2022 with the title track "Sinners Welcome", followed by other singles that garnished the first Kalamity Kills album (2023), released under the band's own label, Pero Recordings. In 2024, following a new version of the track "The Chemistry of Meant to Be", already remixed by Kellen McGregor, the band unveiled "Starry Skies (988)", which reached number 40 in the Radio Mainstream Rock charts.
