Biography

Jordan Lutes, known professionally as Jutes, was born on 28 March 1991 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and emerged as a singer-songwriter. His career began with the 2018 single "Everything" followed by "Walk on Me" and "Give You Up", establishing his presence in the Canadian music scene. In 2020, he released the albums Overrated and A Really Bad Dream, while 2021’s Careful What You Wish For expanded his catalog. Subsequent releases-Hot Trash (2022), Ladybug (2023), Sleepyhead (2024), and Dilworth (2025), which featured singles "SMUT" and "It Takes Two"-showed consistent growth. Jutes earned a Juno Award nomination for Breakthrough Artist or Group of the Year in 2026, and his singles "Devil" and "Girls" achieved notable chart positions, underscoring his impact on contemporary music.
