Oliver Malcolm is a Swedish-born, London-raised singer, songwriter, and producer who first built his reputation in his teens under the name Bigg Kidd, making beats, entering Los Angeles beat battles after moving there at 16, and working with artists such as Joey Bada$$, Jay Rock, IDK, AlunaGeorge, Masego, Tinashe, and MF DOOM before signing to Darkroom/Interscope in 2019. He launched his solo career in 2020 with the singles âSwitched Up,â âHelen,â âKevin,â âThe Machine,â and âOutside,â then expanded that run in 2021 with the EP Are You Living in the Real World?, the singles âSkywalker,â âThe Jungle,â and âRolling Stone,â and a remix of Glass Animalsâ âTokyo Drifting.â In 2022 he entered a new release phase with Act One, followed by the single âMartian Manâ and the EP Act Two, issued through Neon Spaceship and Venice Music. After returning in 2023 with the standalone single âWhat Am I To Do?,â he re-emerged in 2024 with âCause of You,â âStation Hill,â and the seven-track release When Lightning Strikes, Wear It. He remained active in 2025 with âRock & Rollâ and âOff My Head,â and in 2026 added âSUPERMAN (OLIVER MALCOLM VERSION)â and âGhosts,â continuing a catalog that moved between alternative pop, indie rock, rap, and punk-led production.
