Biography

Choi Jung-in (born December 7, 1980), mononymously known as Jung-in, is a South Korean singer recognized for her soulful voice and versatile musical style. She began her career in 2002 with a collaboration on Leessang's hit single "Rush," which marked her entrance into the Korean music scene. Soon after, Jung-in joined the five-member R&B group G.Fla, debuting with the album Groove Flamingo in 2004. The group gained attention for their unique sound, but disbanded after three years in 2007. Jung-in pursued a solo career, releasing her debut album From Andromeda in 2010 under Mystic89, followed by Melody Remedy in 2011. Her music is known for blending R&B, soul, and acoustic elements, with hits like "I Hate You" and "Rainy Season" gaining popularity. Over the years, she has released several successful extended plays, including Geuni (2013), Autumn Lady (2013), and Rare (2016). In addition to her solo work, Jung-in has collaborated with prominent artists like Gary from Leessang, contributing to chart-topping singles like "Your Scent" and "Bicycle." She has also lent her voice to numerous television soundtracks, further establishing herself as a respected figure in the Korean music industry.
