Monica Emma Josefin Nilsson, known professionally as Josefin Nilsson, was a singer and actress born on March 22, 1969, in Gotland, Sweden. In 1983, she formed the group Ainbusk Singers with her sister Marie Nilsson and two friends, later changing their name to Ainbusk. The group gained attention when Benny Andersson wrote two successful tracks for them: "Lassie" and "Ãlska Mig". They released their first EP in 1990. In 1993, Nilsson released her debut solo album Shapes, produced by Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson of ABBA, which reached number 14 on the Swedish charts. She also participated in the Melodifestivalen in 2005 and 2008. In addition to her music career, Nilsson acted in several films. Josefin Nilsson passed away on February 29, 2016.
