Jonny Fritz is an American alternative country singer-songwriter who was born as Jonathan Russell Fritz. He began a musical career under the stage name Jonny Corndawg and released his debut studio album, I'm Not Ready to Be a Daddy (2008). Fritz is famous for a musical style showcased on the studio album Dad Country (2013), which reached number 72 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and featured the single âGoodbye Summerâ. The recording was produced by Taylor Goldsmith of the band Dawes. He performed at SXSW in 2012 and 2014. His discography includes the studio recordings Sweet Creep (2016), which was named number 14 on the Rolling Stone best country records of 2016, and Debbie Downers (2025).
