Biography

John Glacier is a British experimental rapper, singer, and producer who emerged from London's vibrant underground scene in the late 2010s. Born in Hackney to Jamaican parents, the UK artist's approach to hip-hop is unconventionalâfusing elements of electronic, ambient, and lo-fi music with the rhythmic complexity of rap. After collaborating as a guest with artists such as Vegyn, Dreamcastmoe, and Dean Blunt, she released her debut 2021 LP, Shiloh: Lost for Words, followed by a collaborative EP with Surf Gang in 2023 called JGSG. She released the Like A Ribbon EP on Young, which featured guests in the form of Eartheater and Sampha. The Angel's Trumpet EP arrived in February 2025.
