Biography

Rapper, producer and composer of soundtracks for video games, Doseone infuses poetry and electronic sounds into his eclectic music. Born Adam Drucker in Nampa, Idaho, on April 21, 1977, he grew up between Philadelphia, New Jersey and Cincinnati, Ohio, where he completed his schooling and indulged in poetic rap. In addition to numerous collaborations, as part of the duo Themselves or with Subtle, Clouddead, Anticon and Deep Puddle Dynamics, he produced experimental albums such as Hemispheres (1998), Slowdeath (1999), The Pelt (2003), Ha (2005), Soft Skulls (2007), SkeletonRepelent (2008) and G Is for Deep (2012), before signing video game soundtracks. In this field, he showcases his electronic side on albums such as Orbitalis (2015), Enter the Gungeon (2016), High Hell (2017), Exit the Gungeon (2020) and others. Nevertheless, he continues his personal work in an abstract style with the productions G Is for Job (2020) and Taken by Glaciers (2021). Also, between various collaborations, notably with Buck 65 on North American Adonis (2023), Doseone continues to explore different facets of rap, as in 2025 with All Portrait, No Chorus.
