Biography

Hailing from Miami, Florida, American singer Jimmy Levy (December 6, 1997) jumped to fame as an influencer on social media before becoming a contestant on the eighteenth season of reality music competition American Idol. He began his career by uploading short films to video-streaming websites before moving on to the app musical.ly, where he accumulated over 30,000 fans. In 2020, he briefly participated in the reality TV show American Idol but was eliminated on the third round of Hollywood Week. His involvement on the show expanded his ever-growing fan base and was followed by a series of collaborations with Florida rapper Hi-Rez on the politically charged 2021 singles “This Is a War” and “Welcome to the Revolution,” with the latter entering the Top 50 of the Hot Rock Songs chart at Number 30.
