Jennifer Chapin, born on June 8, 1971, in the United States of America, is a singer-songwriter. She is the daughter of Harry Chapin and Sandra Chapin. Chapin began her musical journey by studying at Brown University and the Berklee College of Music. Her debut album Live at the Bitter End was released in 2000. Subsequent albums include Linger (2004), Light Of Mine (2008), ReVisions: Songs of Stevie Wonder (2009), and Reckoning (2013). Chapin's music is described as "jazz tinged urban folk soul," incorporating elements of funk, soul, and improvisation. She has also taken on the role of a high school history teacher, specializing in global history at a local Brooklyn high school.
