Biography

Born in Erlangen, Bavaria, in 1981, Jan Miserre is a German pianist and composer. A classically trained jazz musician, in 2010 he joined a rock'n'roll revival band, The Baseballs Band, with whom he recorded two albums. In 2015, he teamed up with composers John Gürtler and Lars Voges to form the Paradox Paradise trio, which produced the soundtrack to the film Above and Below. Gürtler and Miserre continue their collaboration on a string of film and TV projects, including the soundtracks for Space Dogs (2020), A Mouthful of Air (2021), Veins of the World (2021), Für Jojo (2022) and The Outrun (2024).
