Saxophonist, clarinettist and flautist Sylvain Rifflet has distinguished himself in a variety of jazz-related genres. He continues with different formations for Mechanics (2015), Refocus (2017) and Troubadours (2019), then Rebellion(s) in 2020 and Aux Anges in 2022. He collaborates successively with Finnish trumpeter Verneri Pohjola, guitarist Philippe Gordiani and, in Xmas Sax (2023), a saxophone quartet with Alban Darche, Matthieu Donarier and François Ripoche. In 2024, We Want Stars is recorded as a trio with Bettina Kee on keyboards and drummer Vincent Taeger.
