Jamie Hartman (born 1973, England) is an English singerâsongwriter who began his career as lead vocalist of the London indieâpop band Ben's Brother. Their 2007 goldâcertified album Beta Male Fairytales and the 2009 release Battling Giants produced the single "Let Me Out", which earned an Ivor Novello nomination. After the band disbanded, Hartman focused on songwriting and production, coâauthoring hits such as "Human" by Rag'n'Bone Man (2016), "Stargazing" by Kygo, and "Hold Me While You Wait" on Lewis Capaldiâs 2019 chartâtopping album Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent. His work garnered a 2015 ARIA Award for Conrad Sewellâs "Start Again", a 2019 Grammy nomination for Backstreet Boysâ "Don't Go Breaking My Heart", and a 2022 Grammy nomination for "Here I Am (Singing My Way Home)" from the Respect soundtrack. Hartman continues to collaborate with artists such as Calvin Harris, Rudimental, and Sam Ryder.
