Biography

Hailing from Ottawa, Ontario, where she was born on July 7, 1993, Canadian singer Jamie Fine is known for the duo she forms with musician and producer Elijah Woods and the solo career that followed. Operating from 2014 to 2020, the electro-pop duo proved popular in Canada with several hits including the local Adult Contemporary chart #1 "It Ain't Easy" and the EP 8:47 released in 2019. After their split in 2020, Jamie Fine launched her own career with the track "Sellout", co-written and produced by Elijah Woods. In 2021, she collaborates with DJ Takis and Brandyn Burnette, before unveiling a series of new tracks throughout 2022 under her new contract with Universal Music Canada. Produced by Bynon, the six-track EP Eight Gardengate includes her collaboration with Alicia Moffet on the track "Never Wanted This" and the Top 40 Airplay hit "Hate Me Love Me" from radio station CHR. In 2023, "If Anything's Left" racked up millions of listens and views, reaching No. 8 on the Canadian Billboard Adult Contemporary charts. The track paved the way for the second EP, If This Is It... (2024), which also includes "You're Like" (#11 on the Adult Contemporary charts).
