Biography
Jacob Bellens, born in 1979 in Nakskov, Denmark, is a Danish singer. He began writing his own songs at 13 and released his first album with the electronic project Livstrompet in 2004. From 2006 to 2010, he was part of the pop duo Murder. Bellens' solo career started in November 2012 with The Daisy Age. In September 2014, he produced My Convictions under his own label, A Spot in the Sun. His first international album, Polyester Skin, was released in February 2016, collaborating closely with Danish producer and DJ Kasper Bjørke. Bellens won the Kritikerpris Steppeulven for Singer of the Year in 2011, along with the P3Gold-Preis from Danish national radio.
