Biography

John Stephen Corrigan, known professionally as Jack Dangers, was born on January 11, 1965, in the United Kingdom and is an electronic musician, DJ, producer, and remixer. He founded Meat Beat Manifesto with Jonny Stephens in 1987. With Meat Beat Manifesto, Dangers released notable albums including Storm the Studio (1989) and Satyricon (1992). He collaborated on various projects such as Tino and Spontaneous Human Combustion, and remixed tracks for artists like David Bowie and Nine Inch Nails. As a solo artist, he released albums like Variaciones Espectrales (2002) and Music For Planetarium (2008). Dangers is known for his activism in animal rights and has contributed to benefit compilations for In Defense of Animals. His remix of Tower of Power's "What is Hip?" was nominated for a Grammy in 2006.
