Biography

Irgwin Placido Sluis, who goes by the name Ir-Sais, is a hip-hop performer from Bonaire, the island municipality of The Netherlands near Venezuela. He grew up in Rotterdam and played drums as a youngster. He had stints with groups called Ice Band and Happy Band and released his first single, 'Schatje zeg Maa' in 2010. Albums include 'Nada No Ta Pasando' (2014), 'Deeper' (2015) 'Next Round' (2016), 'Disidi' (2017), 'Heat' (2018) and 'Midnight Boom' (2018). Tracks include 'Lean Sex' (2016), 'Amore' (2017) and 'Dream Girl' (2019) with Rauw Alejandro. His 2020 schedule was to include appearances at venues in Eindhoven and the Hague.
