Iroha, an English post-metal band from Birmingham, was formed in 2008 by Andy Swan. Guitarist and vocalist Andy Swan was previously an original member of Final, an experimental electronics outfit from Birmingham, England. After leaving Final in 1985, Swan switched his attention to the dance scene for a decade before forming Iroha. The band's lineup included bassist Diarmuid Dalton, who also played bass in Jesu, and guitarist and vocalist Dominic Crane, formerly of Rumblefish. Signed to Denovali Records in 2010, Iroha released their first LP Bittersweet, a split with Fragment. Their debut self-titled album was released by Denovali Records in 2011. The band followed up with the four-track EP End of an Era and their second full-length album Shepherds & Angels in 2012.
