Biography
Inquisition was an American punk rock band from Richmond, Virginia, formed in 1991. Their initial lineup included Thomas Barnett on vocals, Mark Avery on guitar, Leer Baker on bass, and Russ Jones on drums. In 1992, Rob Huddleston replaced Baker on bass. They released a first full-length album, Broken Songs (1993). They gained recognition with the release of the album Revolution, I Think It's Called Inspiration (1996) on Pop A Wheelie Records, which was re-released in 2005 on A-F Records. They disbanded after a final show in September 1996, but reunited for two performances in May 2007. Their influence extended beyond active years, with members forming other notable bands such as Strike Anywhere, River City High, and Ann Beretta. Other releases include the EP Touch the Sun (1992) and the live album Uproar: Live And Loud (2008).
