Inner Life was an American club-oriented soul studio project formed in 1979. The group enjoyed success with their debut single "I'm Caught Up (In a One Night Love Affair)" (1979) and subsequent releases such as "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" (1981) and "Moment of My Life" (1982). Inner Life featured the vocals of Jocelyn Brown and Leroy Burgess, who were produced and arranged by Patrick Adams. The project was engineered by Bob Blank and Joe Arlotta under executive producer Greg Carmichael's Red Greg Records label in New York. "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" is particularly notable for its classic remix by DJ Larry Levan. Inner Life released three studio albums: I'm Caught Up (1979), Inner Life (1980), and Inner Life II (1981).
