Infectious Grooves is an American funk metal band formed in 1989 as a side project by Mike Muir and Robert Trujillo of Suicidal Tendencies. Although formed in 1989, the group did not begin performing until 1991, with a lineup that included Dean Pleasants on guitar, Adam Siegel on second guitar, Scott Crago on drums, Stephen Perkins on percussion, and Dave Dunn on keyboards. Their debut studio album, The Plague That Makes Your Booty Move... It's the Infectious Grooves, was released in 1991 and featured guest vocalist Ozzy Osbourne on the song âTherapyâ. The group toured in 1992 with Josh Freese on drums, who also performed on their second studio album, Sarsippius' Ark (1993). Following the dissolution of Suicidal Tendencies, they released their third studio album, Groove Family Cyco (1994), with Brooks Wackerman on drums. Their subsequent releases include the EP Six the Hard Way (1998) and their fourth studio album, Más Borracho (2000).
