British electro duo In Parallel made a name for themselves in 2024 with the track "Now It's Gone". The duo consists of George Denver and Harrison Baker, two electro enthusiasts who have pooled their tastes to create a danceable style influenced by the garage sound. A drum'n'bass aficionado since his teens, George Denver had been working on his tracks for four years when he met Harrison Baker, a multi-instrumentalist whose training on piano, violin and guitar is matched by an eclecticism in music and an attraction to sampling. The latter, originally from Manchester, is also the founder of the Pure Filth label and has worked under the name of Baika. The duo's first single, "Now It's Gone" (2024), proved a club hit, before climbing the playlists of music platforms and reaching number 11 in the UK independent singles chart.
