Ibrahim Electric, a Danish fusion band based in Copenhagen, was formed in 2004. The group consists of drummer Stefan Pasborg, organist Jeppe Tuxen, and guitarist Niclas Knudsen. Their musical journey began in 2002 when Pasborg invited Tuxen and Knudsen to perform with him at his graduation concert at the Rytmisk Musikkonservatorium in Copenhagen. The trio released their self-titled debut album Ibrahim Electric in 2004, followed by a collaboration with trombonist Ray Anderson on the critically acclaimed album Ibrahim Electric Meets Ray Anderson. In 2006, they released Absinthe, which received high praise from critics. The band continued to release albums including Brothers of Utopia (2008), Royal Air Maroc (2010), and Time Machine (2020). They have performed at notable festivals such as the NUE Jazz Festival Nürnberg and the Jazzfestival Alto Adige.
