Hyangni, a rock band from the Republic of Korea, was formed in 2011 by Lee Ji-hyang (vocals, synthesizer) and Lee Jun-gyu (bass), who met at a local music academy during high school. Their debut album 첫ì¬ëì´ ëì´ì¤ was released on October 10, 2014. In 2018, they released their EP 2, followed by their third album 3 on November 25, 2019. During this period, the band transitioned to a duo after members Shin Seung-gyu and Park Jae-sin left. Lee Ji-hyang collaborated with film music director Bang Joon-seok on soundtracks for films such as Lucky, Prison, The Admiral: Roaring Currents, and Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds. Hyangniâs final single âAlready Hereâ was released on January 8, 2025, and they announced their disbandment on their Instagram on July 11, 2025.
