Biography

Hwang Ga-ram, born in 1987 in Changwon City, Gyeongsangnam-do, is a South Korean singer and the lead vocalist of the bands Pinocchio and Neighborhood Youth. Known for his husky voice reminiscent of legendary singer Lim Jae-beom, Hwang debuted in 2011 with the EP Memory. He gained wider recognition in 2023 by competing in MBN's survival audition program Oppa Times, where he advanced to the semi-finals and impressed audiences with his vocal depth and emotional delivery. Hwang has contributed to numerous OSTs, including Taepung's Bride, CafÃ© Anchorage, and Nine Monks, with hits like âSad Springâ (2024) and âLike a Miracleâ (2024) showcasing his heartfelt artistry. In October 2024, he released a single, "I'm a firefly".
