Hunny (stylized as HUNNY), was an American rock band formed in 2014 in Newbury Park, California. The group initially consisted of Jason Yarger (vocals, guitar), Jake Goldstein (guitar), Kevin Grimmett (keyboards, bass), and Joey Anderson (drums). In June 2014, Hunny released their debut single "Honey Blonde", followed by "Cry for Me" in January 2015. Their first EP, Pain / Ache / Loving, was released on October 9, 2015. In 2016, the band released two singles, "Vowels (and the Importance of Being Me)" and "Colder Parts". The group's second EP, Windows I, was published on May 26, 2017. In 2018, Hunny signed with Epitaph Records and released their third EP, Windows II. Their debut album, Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes., was released on July 19, 2019. When they were still a band, Hunny released the EP Homesick on July 22, 2022 and the studio album New Planet Heaven on October 6, 2023, followed by the live album Live at Paul's on February 27, 2024. In 2025, Hunny announced a transition into a solo project led by Jason Yarger, with new singles "Sidewaze" and "Catalina" released under this new format, followed by the third studio full-length, Spirit!, on September 26.
