Coasts was an English rock band from Bristol, England, formed in 2011. The band released their debut single "Stay" in 2012. In June 2014, they gained significant BBC Radio 1 support with the release of the single "Oceans". Later that year, Coasts signed a record deal with Warner Records and Capitol Records. Their debut album Coasts was released in 2016, charting at number 38 on the UK charts. The band's second album, This Life, Vol. 1, achieved a higher chart position of number 17 upon its release in 2017. Coasts announced their disbandment via social media on August 9, 2018, culminating in a final show at Shepherd's Bush Empire on October 28, 2018.
