Biography

Lethal, an Argentine heavy metal band, was founded in 1987 in Villa Martelli by Claudio Ortiz and Pablo Álvarez. The group initially focused on rehearsals, evolving from traditional heavy metal to thrash metal. In 1990, Lethal released their debut album Bienvenidos a mi reino, which included the hit "King of the Ring", and the band gained recognition through major festivals and tours. Subsequent albums like Warriors (1992) and Maza (1994) further established their presence. In 1995, Charly Guillén left due to health issues. The band released several more albums, including Efecto tequila (1996) and Lethal 5.0 (1999), before disbanding. Lethal reunited in 2004 for a concert and returned to full activity in 2010 with the album Inyección Lethal. Their eighth album, Somos Thrash, was launched in October 2023.
