Biography

HOLYCHILD was an American indie pop duo formed in 2012 in Los Angeles, California. The band consisted of Liz Nistico and Louie Diller, who defined their genre as "brat pop". Their recording âHappy With Meâ (2013) reached Number 1 on Hype Machineâs Popular Charts. Their debut EP, Mindspeak (2014), was followed by the album The Shape of Brat Pop to Come (2015), which featured the single âRunning Behindâ (2015). After a period of inactivity, the duo released the singles âWishing You Awayâ (2018) and âCarmeloâ (2018). Their discography includes the EP America Oil Lamb (2016) and the album The Theatrical Death of Julie Delicious (2019). The duo disbanded in 2020.
