Hollywood Hank, born Sven Pingel on September 16, 1985, in Berlin, Germany, was a German rapper and hip-hop producer. He grew up in the Prenzlauer Berg district of Berlin with two sisters. At age 12, he moved to Oderwitz, where he first encountered hip-hop and began participating in freestyle battles under the name Fat Flash. In 2003, Pingel formed the project Alzheimer with Johnny Flexxx, releasing their debut album Nur ein Versuch. His breakthrough came in 2006 when he released his solo debut album Soziopath under Rapz-Records. After leaving Rapz-Records in 2009, Pingel signed with Selfmade Records, which re-released Soziopath. He collaborated with Favorite on the mixtape Schläge für Hip Hop (2008). In 2014, under the pseudonym Bak Ta Ehli, he published several tracks before disappearing from the public eye. Pingel passed away on December 3, 2023, in Segovia, Spain.
