Holly Rachel Vukadinovic, known professionally as Holly Valance, was born on May 11, 1983, in Fitzroy, Victoria, Australia. She is a singer and actress who began her career as a model at the age of 14. Her breakthrough in music came with her first single "Kiss Kiss," an English-language cover version of Turkish singer Tarkan's "Åımarık," which reached Number 1 on the ARIA Singles Chart and UK Singles Charts in April 2002. Her debut album, Footprints, was released later that year, featuring the hit singles "Down Boy" and "Naughty Girl."
