Heinz aus Wien, a band from Austria, was formed in 1995 by Michael Gaissmaier, Lelo Brossmann, Cornelius Dix, and Bernd Jungmair. The group initially faced legal issues due to name conflicts with another German band named Heinz, leading them to adopt the name "Heinz aus Wien." Their breakthrough came with "Alles Gute, FM4", a song dedicated to the Austrian youth radio station FM4, which reached Number 1 on its charts. Following this success, they released their debut album Welsfischen am Wolgadelta in 1996 and subsequent albums, including Elektroboot, bitte (1997), and Pasadena (2000). The band signed with BMG and continued to release notable works such as Itâs a Crazy World (2005) and Die bunten Fahnen gehn über die Welt (2007). Heinz aus Wien was nominated for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award in 2001, 2002, and 2003.
