Hedley, a Canadian popârock group formed in Abbotsford, British Columbia in 2003, began with Jacobâ¯Hoggard after his third place on Canadian Idol in 2004. The band signed with Universal Music Canada and released their selfâtitled debut Hedley on 26â¯Septemberâ¯2006, reaching number three on the Canadian Albums Chart and earning double platinum certification. Subsequent albums-Famous Last Words (2007), The Show Must Go (2009), Storms (2011), Wild Life (2013), Hello (2015), and Cageless (2017)-produced hits such as "Kiss You Inside Out", "Anything", and "Love Again", with the former peaking at number two on the Canadian Hotâ¯100 and going triple platinum. Hedley received multiple Juno nominations, toured North America, and headlined the 101st Grey Cup halftime show. In Februaryâ¯2018, following sexual misconduct allegations, the group entered an indefinite hiatus; Jacobâ¯Hoggard was convicted of sexual assault in 2022.
