Harry Williamson, born in Ilfracombe, North Devon, England, is a British guitarist and musician. He started his career working at Glastonbury Festival and the Rainbow Theatre in the 1970s. In 1970, he collaborated with Anthony Phillips of Genesis on Tarka, based on his father's novel Tarka the Otter. The album was released by PRT in 1988 and topped the New Music Charts for three months. He also worked with Nik Turner on "Nuclear Waste" (1978), released by Virgin Records. In 1978, he formed Mother Gong with Gilli Smyth, releasing albums like Robot Woman (1982) and The Owl and the Tree (1989). Williamson also emigrated to Melbourne, Australia in 1982 and became an Australian citizen. He has composed various music styles and produced recordings for artists worldwide.
