Biography

Hardsoul, a Dutch house music duo comprised of brothers Rogier van Bueren and Greg van Bueren, emerged from the Netherlands in the late 1990s as producers and DJs. Their first releases appeared on Soulfuric Recordings in 1998 with the single "Do What I Gotta Do", followed by a series of tracks that built a reputation within the underground house scene. In 2003 they signed with Defected Records’ sublabel ITH Records, releasing the vocal anthem "Back Together" featuring Ron Carroll; the track entered the UK Singles Chart at number sixty and received significant radio play. The duo continued to release music on notable labels, issuing the singles "Self Religion" in 2008 and "Back Together" in 2012, while collaborating with artists such as New Cool Collective, Olav Basoski, and Amma.
