Hardline, an American hard rock band formed in 1991, was created by brothers Johnny Gioeli and Joey Gioeli. The band initially included guitarist Neal Schon of Journey and Bad English, bassist Todd Jensen, and drummer Deen Castronovo. Their debut album Double Eclipse was released in 1992, featuring tracks such as "Hot Cherie" and "Takin' Me Down", which received extensive radio airplay. The band toured with artists like Mr. Big and Extreme but disbanded in late 1992. Hardline reunited in the late 1990s, releasing their second album II in 2002. The band continued to evolve through various line-up changes, releasing albums Leaving the End Open (2009), Danger Zone (2012), Human Nature (2016), Life (2019), Heart, Mind and Soul (2021), and Shout (2026).
